Any ideas who may have lived here at one time?
It's a somewhat crudely carved image of a wheel with a section of shaft-rod and a carpenter's ax and bears the date 1555. A wheelwright by the name of Jan Štefl lived and worked his trade in this house. In the 17th century, a different owner added to the facade a gold crown, overshadowing the much simpler original insignia.
